Information you choose to record
Rhyvelle lets you record cycle dates, flow, mood, symptoms, notes, health context, pain details, and reminder preferences. You decide what to enter, and health context is optional.
Where your information is stored
On iPhone and Android, your diary is stored in an encrypted database on your device. Its encryption key is kept in the device’s secure key store. Rhyvelle does not currently provide an account or cloud-sync service, and it does not send your diary to us or to a Rhyvelle server.
Device backups
Your device or operating-system provider may include app information in a device backup according to the backup settings you control. Those services are operated under the provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
Face ID and biometric lock
If you enable the app lock, biometric authentication is performed by your device’s operating system. Rhyvelle receives only whether authentication succeeded. It does not access or store your face, fingerprint, or other biometric data.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Rhyvelle asks for notification permission and schedules reminders locally on your device. Notification wording is discreet and does not include a condition, symptom, or pain entry. You can turn reminders off at any time.
Analytics, advertising, and sharing
Rhyvelle does not include advertising or behavioural analytics. We do not sell, rent, share, or use your diary for marketing. Because your diary is not sent to us, we cannot view it.
Deleting your information
Use Delete all data on the My Data page to permanently remove your check-ins, health-context choices, and reminder settings from the app on that device. Removing the app also removes its local app database. Cancel any device backup separately through your device settings if required.
Health information
Rhyvelle is a personal diary, not a medical device. Its cycle estimates and insights are informational only and must not be used for contraception, diagnosis, or treatment. Seek advice from a qualified health professional for medical decisions.
Changes to this policy
If Rhyvelle later adds accounts, cloud sync, analytics, or another feature that changes how information is handled, this policy will be updated before that feature is made available.
